A digital pottery marathon—whether a 24-hour sculpting sprint or a weekend-long rendering binge—leaves a unique trail of virtual debris. Unlike physical clay, which washes off with water, digital detritus clings to desktops, buries itself in folder hierarchies, and slows down creative flow. The cleanup after such an intense session is not merely a chore; it is a ritual that reclaims mental space and prepares the canvas for the next masterpiece. Approaching this task with a strategic mindset transforms a daunting mess into a streamlined, almost meditative process.

First-Fire File Triage

Before diving into system optimizations, the first step is aggressive file triage. A marathon session can generate hundreds of iterations—test prints, failed supports, experimental color palettes, and fifty versions of the same handle.
